Peace UMC will be partnering with Gethsemane Lutheran for a fun event which will be held on Tuesday, February 13^th. Schokolade is a chocolate buffet that will be held at Gethsemane from 5:00-7:00p.m. You can either attend in person and eat all the chocolate you want, or you can purchase a 10x10 inch box filled with chocolate treats. Tickets will be $12 each for either, in-person sampling or the take-out box. Take-out boxes can be picked up between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. on February 13^th at Gethsemane.

Money raised from this event will be used to develop and fund a feeding program for those in need within our community.

February 13^th is the day before Lent begins, so if you are planning on giving up chocolate for Lent, this is your opportunity to get your fill. Also, since the 14^th is Valentine’s Day, this could be a good date night. Or perhaps a take-out box would make a great gift.

If you feel a take-out box would have too many goodies for just, you, you could split a box with a friend or neighbor.

We will be selling tickets starting after worship on January 21^st and ticket sales will be limited to 100 in-person tickets and 100 take-out boxes. Ticket sales will be cut off on February 8^th, so don’t wait too long to get your ticket.

If you would like to make something chocolate to add to the buffet or help with set up, making to-go boxes, clean up, or other duties, there will be a sign-up sheet in the library.
